Are there certain Web hosts we have to use for WebAsyst to work?
I currently have yahoo and I can not get the shopping cart to work.

Hello. Yahoo is very restrictive and we had many problems even with the discontinued previous version. This current version will not work there. Preferable hosting configuration is PHP 5.x, MySQL 4.1 and above on a Unix like operational system running Apache with mod_rewrite as a web server software. We have many clients who installed WebAsyst successfully at GoDaddy. The rest of the requirements for WebAsyst scripts.

I have been using Dynadot hosting since 2007, it is good enough, but one thing i felt that there servers are slow

Actually, there are a lot of host services you can use. You just have to check with the specifications if they will be able to support it. What we have now usually are free to be used. What I mean is, there are no significant restrictions that would inhibit the use of webasyst.
I have been using hostgator and I am having no problems with it. But I am not saying that only hostgator will work. You just have to choose which one suits you.

I do not recommend host Gator for webasyst
Why Not you Try www.checkouthost.com It is much much better than godaddy and Hostgator
