url change

Hello I am a premium member on your hosted service I was wondering how possible can I integrate my domain name into my store because the url of the shop isn't good for my store.

Such as SEO etc can i point my domain name towards your servers?

Thanks.

Re: url change

Yes, it is possible. The only problem is that we do not have our own DNS servers to have your name hosted on. You need to attach it somewhere and change A-record in the settings to point to our IP, then we will change setting on our side to open storefront at your domain name. Write to support for specific details.

What exactly would you like to achieve?

Be careful what you wish for — you might get it.

Re: url change

Did you try the same with a simple HTML page - does it open on the new domain name?

Re: url change

In Frontier, bring the guest database containing the site to the frontier. If your site is called MyFirstSite, for example, the guest database is probably called MyFirstSite.root.

From the Server menu, choose Change Site URL...

In the dialog box, type the new URL for the site.

For example, if your site is now at http://xyz.myserver.com/MyFirstSite/, type that in, then click OK.
