riddell has a good starter article about payment processing options, but I disagree with his recommending Authorize.net.  CDG has no app fee, no start up fee, no gateway fee, and they have great customer service and include many options that other merchant accounts & gateways nickel and dime you for, like auto-billing (like to charge monthly for hosting), and a secure vault to store charge info for ongoing repeat customers (great for web developers).

All you pay is $10/month plus the 2.x% of each charge (x would depend on how risky they evaluate your business) plus a 25 or 30 cent charge per transaction.  The transaction charges are competitive and I love the way they only charge $10/month, great for sites just getting started. 

Compare that with Authorize.net's monthly fee, plus their $29.95 gateway fee, add-on fees, etc, etc, why bother, keep that money in your pocket.

I'm from the Philippines, commonly used here is paypal. You'll only link your paypal account to your bank and you'll get your payment. It's very easy..

I always think paypal is good. But another like money brooker, western union also are good. But there are many country where paypal is not available. so you find another option for their.
