USPS Rate Calculator

I got an e-mail from USPS telling me I need to get hooked up to their new API ("RateV4"). They included a link to their technical info (www.usps.com/webtools/technical.htm) but I didn't find it very helpful. I'm diving back into it now to see if the answer pops out, but I wondered if anyone else has already done the steps and can offer any info?

Thanks!

Re: USPS Rate Calculator

Goingpostal,

Were you able to find the upgrade information regarding the "Rate V4"?

Struggling with the same issue, any info you may have would be helpful.

Thanks

Re: USPS Rate Calculator

I e-mailed support directly and they sent me a replacement file for published/SC/html/scripts/modules/shipping/class.uspsshipppingmodule.php

Easy change, once I had the file. I suggest if you still need it, that you contact support and have them provide it.

Have you received no response at all? There must be at least an auto-response saying that your query has been registered in the system.

Re: USPS Rate Calculator

they said I am not a registered customer with my email address. I have Shop Script Premium from 4 years ago and I think I used an email address I deleted long ago from my personal ISP. I know use my web site email and run it through gmail. What am I going to do ? Doesn't anyone have the file fix ? I'm screwed as a business owner now. I wish I could SPEAK to someone , which I know I did years ago. Is there a # I can call ? I am desperate !

Re: USPS Rate Calculator

ersilia1, if you have ANY written evidence of that purchase made 4 years ago (e.g. invoice, email notification saved in your email client, transaction record in your PayPal account, etc.), I suggest that you send anything you can find to the support team to help them identify you as a registered customer. That way you might restore access to your Customer Center account at https://my.webasyst.net/ if you cannot log in there.
