Mailing List Feature

Is it possible to create a form to allow users to subscribe to the mailing list from another website, like a widget?

Re: Mailing List Feature

WebAsyst Contacts has this feature built-in by default: http://www.webasyst.net/contacts/features.html#a11

Re: Mailing List Feature

Thanks for that Rat. Is it possible to centralise all newsletter subscribers? Using the forms inbuilt in the contact application, seems to add contacts to the contacts database, whereas using the mailing list feature in the shop-script will add the person to the shop script application. Thus resulting in some contacts being added in one location, and others added to another location.

Is it possible to do this?

Re: Mailing List Feature

You can achieve that by replacing the standard newsletter subscription form with the one provided by the Contacts application. You can also send newsletters from within Contacts without using Shop-Script.
