I'm trying to figure out the php code to update my in_stock value and items_sold values in my products table whenever the order form button is pressed, can anyone assist me?

What exactly do you mean by the "order form button"? Add to cart or place order? On what page is that button?

place order

the page is the one where you put your contact information

You can do that in file published/SC/html/scripts/modules/abstract/_methods/checkout/your_info.php in method process_customer_info ().

I'm using shop-script free and that file and directory don't come with that
